Answer: The testosterone hormone is responsible for the majority of the sex drive in humans. Both the male and female produce testosterone but however, males produce more testosterone than women. So theoretically speaking, men should have higher sex drives due to this fact. However, sex drive is also influenced by many factors like eprsonality, adrenaline, mood and past experiences. Therefore, it is possible for some women to have higher sex drives than their male counterparts
